Meghan is drawn to stories and lore in all forms. She likes to include bright colors and a sense of humor by combining elements to humorous effect, such as weasels wearing rocket packs. She is drawn to urban decay, abandoned places, and ghost stories. Her art world is populated with secretive, isolated girls and silly creatures that may or may not be wearing space helmets. She creates work with cut, layered paper, which allows for a sense of texture and dimensionality.“Arcadia” features a collection of paper collages exploring an untamed forest, with strange beasts, fae creatures, and other denizens of the dark woods.
