Reading for Meaning: February 1-22

Reading for Meaning
February 1 – 22
Opening Reception: February 1, 5-8pm

LUX Artist-in-Residence Jordan Buschur made oil paintings representing books as harbors of knowledge, meaning, and pleasure.  Buschur uses books as symbols for one’s personal taste and accumulated knowledge.  In her paintings, some stacks of books remain blank: full of potential or conversely, impenetrable, while others include written words and phrases to act as clues into meaning.
