Illinois artist Khara Koffel created this interactive exhibition to give visitors an opportunity to reflect on what occurs when they experience artifacts from a time gone by.  Koffel’s work is inspired by her memories of objects that stir feelings of nostalgia; for people, places, or periods of time that no longer exist.   She says she hopes that by using familiar images in her work that people can relate in a prominent way.
