LUX Center for the Arts offers a wide array of classes designed to develop technical skills and creativity while encouraging students to have fun. Instructors and Resident Artists are qualified to teach all ages and skill levels in well-equipped studios.  Classes are offered year-round.

AUGUST

Art Sampler for the Intimidated
Sample all the LUX has to offer.  Each week will feature a new instructor and new art media. Tackle beginning level art projects with step-by-step instructions in pottery, painting, drawing, collages and glass fusing. Open to teens and adults.
Instructor: Artist-in-Residence
Tuition: $100 LUX members (non-members $125)
SMIX-01 6 weeks, Thurs., Aug. 15, 22, 29, Sept. 5, 12, 19, 6:30-8:30pm 

Wheel Throwing
Learn the basics of working on the potter’s wheel while making vases, bowls, plates and mugs. Finish pieces with slips and glazes.

Tuition: $148 LUX members (non-members $185)
