Creating the World in Clay (SYCER-10)
Explore artwork from cultures around the world! Students will build sculptures and pots inspired by both historic and contemporary examples.

Create With Paint (SYPNT-07)
Students will have a blast learning about different famous artists and their painting techniques each week. Students will make their own paintings in the style of the artist studied while learning basic paint mixing and brushwork techniques.

STEAM Powered Minds (SYMIX-03)
Learn to connect Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics! Students will incorporate STEM topics into their art projects by drawing with 3D printing pens, building and testing model bridges, creating clay projects with insulating properties, painting with floating inks, and more!

Learn about all the fun things you can make with clay! Students will build and glaze small sculptures and functional pieces. This class takes place in our brand new, state-of-the-art Ceramics Center located in the building just west of the LUX parking lot.

Teen Pottery Wheel (SYCER-08)
Learn to use the pottery wheel! The first class session will focus on the fundamentals of starting a project on the wheel and the basic knowledge needed to master this essential step. Each subsequent class session will cover additional throwing and finishing techniques. Beginning and experienced students are welcome.
