Barbara Greving
Barbara Greving was born in Fargo, North Dakota. She has a BFA in Art with an emphasis in Art History. Barbara studied Classical Realism for three years at Atelier Prohl, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, continuing her study at The Atelier in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has also studied at Herieneko/Paquet, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Greving’s commissioned portraits are in both public and private collections throughout the United States. She has participated in many juried art shows, including the American Women Artists 2010 National Juried Competition in Dallas, Texas. Among the juried art fairs are the Uptown Art Fair (Minneapolis), Wells Street Art Fair (Chicago) and Brookside Art Fair (Kansas City).
Since relocating to Lincoln, Nebraska with her husband John Greving, has focused her efforts on contemporary realism. She also teaches classical Drawing and Painting to students of all ages and abilities.
