St. Olaf College 1965 BA, Univ. of Iowa 1968 MA, 1969 MFA, Atelier 17, Paris 1969 - 1973, Assistant professor replacing Warrington Colescott, Univ. of Wisconsin, Madison 1973, 1974 return to work in Paris, 1976-77 joint teaching position at St. Olaf and Carleton College, Northfield, MN, 1977 - 1982, Assistant professor at Holy Cross College, Worcester, MA, 1985 returned definitively to the south of France to set up my workshop in Tourrette Levens ( a more complete CV can be found on my website ).
Started printmaking in 1965 with intaglio. In 1980 I changed to woodcuts, which I considered a more direct media. In 2014 I decided to start my prints with a rich layer of black that gave me the impression of working my images from negative to positive and a more complete solution.
