Artist Statement
Inspired by memories of growing up in midwestern woodlands, Hunder uses a press to transform the tactile surfaces of native flora into visual interpretations. This sensory information dialogs with theoretical diagrams through screenprint and laser-cut patterns. Suspended unframed, they interact with light and air movements.
