Dallas based printmaker Una Scott has been sharpening her skills in relief printmaking since 2005. Una specializes in relief printmaking, carving multiple blocks or using the reduction method to create prints overflowing with color. The opaque colors are layered on the paper, one after the other, building depth within the image. Una received a B.A. in Studio Art from Wheaton College, Massachusetts. Her work has been featured in exhibitions in Texas, Nebraska, and Massachusetts, including Gallery X, the South Dallas Cultural Center, mighty fine arts, and the LUX Center for the Arts. Her work is in private collections in the US, Denmark, and Germany. She is an active member and treasurer of the North Texas Printmakers Guild.
