The artist Toan Vuong presents "Zoom," an exhibition of drawings made from rubber stamps. Using volume and layers of duplicated craft stamps, the unassuming postage-sized illustrations overlap to create larger coherent images. This show examines the duality of symbols and drawings as a system of abbreviated meaning and complexity in visual language. The more we shift our positions to the pieces, the more it allows us to see a world within another, where individual pieces collectivize to build greater visual momentum.
