I design and create my own jewelry line of pendants, earrings, rings and pins.  I use sterling silver, 14kt. gold and precious and semi-precious gemstones.  My formal training stressed clean, simple design, employing hand forging techniques using a hammer and anvil to form my creations.   For several years I have begun to bring a contrast of texture to my work using reticulated silver against a polished surface or the use of textured sterling silver and 14kt. gold in the same piece.  While I like to experiment with new ideas and processes the simplicity of line and form has always remained at the foundation of my designs and inspirations.
