G.V. Kelley
G.V. Kelley is from the San Francisco Bay Area where they received dual baccalaureate degrees in Ceramics and Earth Science from San Francisco State University. After staying on at SFSU for three years as a studio assistant, G.V. moved to Gainesville, Florida, where they pursued post baccalaureate and graduate studies at the University of Florida in Ceramics. They received a Master of Fine Art degree in the Summer of 2019. G.V. was a long-term Artist in Residence at the LUX Center for the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska. They make figurative ceramic work that explores ideas about non-binary gender through the hybridized animal/human as metaphor, with references to fantasy and science fiction.
