Amy Haney discovered printmaking at Central High School in Omaha Nebraska. Falling in love with the vastness of printmaking approaches she pursued that interest throughout all of her schooling. She has received a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design and a MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She researched the history of printmaking and received an Art History degree from Prescott College. Amy has taught studio classes for over a decade in the Omaha metropolitan area and is currently an instructor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Amy has work in private collections in the San Francisco Bay area, in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Microsoft Corporation.
