This class, led by LUX Artist in Residence Madison Svendgard, will explore the variety of common methods used in contemporary illustration both in content and in material exploration. Participants will be introduced to the work of contemporary illustrators and will utilize drawing and painting as diaristic storytelling, narrative art, and invention of characters and scenes. Participants will leave the class with several illustrations. All materials provided. This class is for Adults 16+.
