In this class, participants will learn about incorporating mixed media surfaces post-firing in sculptural ceramics. The first two weeks of the class, participants will focus on handbuilding sculptural works of their choice with pinch, coil, and slab methods. The following weeks will cover surfaces including glazing and mixed media surfaces including such as painting, foil leaf, flocking, and glitter. Participants are encouraged to bring in any addiitional mixed media materials to incorporate into their works. All other materials will be provided. This class is for adults 16+.
