In this class, participants will learn the fundamentals of colored pencils, including color theory and techniques such as stippling, hatching, cross-hatching, back and forth stroke, and scumbling. You will use these techniques to layer colors over top of one another to create smooth blends and gradations of color while creating still life, floral or landscape drawings. Reference photos will be available, but participants are welcome to bring their own. All materials provided. This class is for Teens 12-15 (Parent/guardian must be available in case of emergency) and Adults 16+.
