April Stevenson is a lifelong resident of Lincoln, NE, growing up in University Place. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Music in flute performance. She performs with the Lincoln Civic Orchestra. April continued in the printing trade and is now retired from Eagle Printing.

April discovered beads over 20 years ago and has attended many workshops around the country in different techniques. She enjoys the many different methods of using beads, including crochet, wire wrapping, needle weaving and stringing. Her passion is discovering new beautiful beads at shows and shops, to incorporate into jewelry that is both affordable and fun to wear.
