Being an artist in Iowa and not being influenced by nature must be difficult. I have never fought its roots since I was a sapling myself, living in town and country and even served in the US Army overseas. Honing my skills in all forms of art at Indian Hills Community College and then the University of Iowa where the forces of nature meet its place in my life. Clay may not stain your clothes but it will stain your soul.
