Mallory Lempke
Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Mallory Lempke has found her home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mallory earned both a Bachelors of Fine Art in Studio Art and a Bachelors of Science in Management from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Her intention was to start some sort of photography/art business right after graduation. Those plans were put on hold with a detour into the corporate world. After working in marketing and information technology for a decade, in 2022, Mallory decided to go back to her roots and rediscover her passion for photography. Mallory's love for photography is expressed in two different outlets; Fine Arts and Portraits.
On the Fine Art side, Mallory is a black and white landscape and nature photographer. Exploring her surroundings, with camera in hand, Mallory aims to capture her perspective and share it with the viewer. She creates timeless, beautifully crafted works that invite the viewer to explore beyond the location of the image. Each viewer then brings their own life experience and perspective when they interpret the work.
As for portraits, Mallory loves to capture those family connections and important moments. Her portrait work includes: family, couples, engagements, maternity and seniors. She aims to capture those special moments of time in a classic, timeless style. She enjoys working with people to find their personality, then crafts portraits that allow them to shine through.
Mallory is married to her kind and supportive husband, Philip. Together, they have two smart and sassy young daughters. Mallory loves spending time with her family, traveling domestically and internationally, staying active and a good drink with even better company. Her happy place is among nature; although it's a toss up between beaches or mountains.
