Billion Dollar Babies is a group exhibition made of works by University of Nebraska Advanced Painting Students and curated by Emily Reece. The show's title, in part takes its name from Alice Coopers 1973 hit of the same title. According to Reece, "It's a tongue-in-cheek acknowledgment of where we stand as young artists in an art world that seems obsessed with auction results and monitory values described to artworks. The show is a celebration of personal expression with an emphasis on figuration. It serves as a gage of current interests and thoughts at the moment."
