Surrounded by the decadent and rich culture of my Cajun Heritage I embody all aspects of this lifestyle. Play hard and party even harder, a good sense of family and tradition, and the many ways food and drink can bring people together.
My body of work is an attempt to capture the essence of the laissez-faire mentality and allow the individual to relax.
The cups I create are purely for entertainment value. I want the viewer to investigate the cup and create a bond that only the handmade cup can create.
It is my dream that for a moment when the individual grasps the cup and a slight bit of laughter is expelled and in that moment we are sharing a drink and a laugh no matter where we are.
