Maddie Aunger is a painter and educator from St. Louis, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science in Art Education, and minor in Art History from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2017/2018. In 2022 she received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She returned home to St. Louis and is the Education Coordinator at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. Maddie’s precise paintings of light and color in domestic environments encourage the viewer to pay attention to their own spaces.
