Beginning Wheel Throwing
A continuation of the fundamentals of wheel throwing. Dive a little deeper into the basics of throwing, trimming, and glazing by experimenting with different forms and refining techniques in this six week class. Students will use earthenware clay and low-fire glazes.
Pottery wheel experience prior to registering for this class or previous enrollment in Intro to Wheel Throwing or Experience the Wheel required. If you are unsure that Beginning Wheel Throwing is the right fit for you, please consult your current instructor or Ceramics Center Manager, Neil Celani, for guidance. Students also have access to the studio during open hours throughout this six-week class. Please refer to the Open Studio Calendar in the Ceramics Center for the most up-to-date hours.

NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop. Cancellation notices will be emailed, and you may respond with an alternate class/workshop choice or request a refund. You are encouraged to invite a friend to ensure that your class/workshop runs!
