Program Description

LUX Artist in Residence Jewelya Coffey is a multidisciplinary artist who makes two-dimensional and three-dimensional work. Her colorful, highly symbolic pieces play with themes of memory, grief, religion, rural life, growing up in the Ozarks, and explores the god-haunted image. In this class, Jewelya will lead participants in various painting and drawing exercises as they identify and incorporate symbolism in their work. All materials provided. This class is for Adults 16+.

Pre-registration is required.
