Open Figure Drawing Workshop
Open Figure Drawing Workshop
Work from a live model and sharpen your figure drawing or sculpting skills. In this series of 10 workshops, participants will be drawing or sculpting the human figure in an open studio format.
Each workshop will start with short poses for gestures and sketches and then move into longer poses, with a final pose for completed drawings or sculptures. Open to all skill levels, the goal of this workshop is to practice proportion, gesture movement, and perspective. Sculptor and LUX Artist-in-Residence alumni Nathan Murray or other LUX Artists-in-Residence, Art Instructors and Fellows will be present to host the sessions and assist participants as needed.
