Youth Handbuilding Camp: Pollinator Power
Youth Handbuilding Camp: Pollinator Power
In this camp for Youth ages 9-11, participants will research and create handbuilt clay projects inspired by National Pollinators Week (June 16-22). They will explore the roles of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds in nature while making functional and sculptural pieces such as ceramic flowers, flower pots and vases, bee pins or magnets, butterfly wind chimes, and hummingbird feeders. All materials, tools, and firing are provided. Participants should wear clothes that can get messy. Projects will be available for pickup at the LUX building about two weeks after the camp ends.
This camp is for Youth ages 9-11. Pre-registration is required.
