Barbara Sullivan
A native of Lincoln, Barbara Sullivan brings experience in the arts and education fields having worked as a fine artist, an art gallery manager, a paraeducator and in a variety of administrative support positions at Lincoln Public Schools, UNL’s Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts and Lancaster County Extension 4-H. Barb holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master of arts in education with a museum education emphasis from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She is excited to be a part of the LUX, where she can combine her passion for the arts and education to provide art opportunities and experiences for youth, adults and the community.
A lifelong artist, Barb currently works in watercolor and mixed media on paper. Her brightly colored landscape and still life paintings are based on places she has visited in the United States, Mexico, Europe and the Caribbean. She is a Signature Member of the Kansas Watercolor Society.
