Emily Palmer graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2023, earning a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Illustration. With over three years of experience working for the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA), Emily currently serves as their Curatorial Assistant. Her experience at MONA further developed her passion for the arts and fostered her ambition to delve deeper into the field. Emily eventually aspires to advance her education with a Masters in Art History/Museum Studies.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Emily loves to create art, with a penchant for pen & ink and graphite mediums. She also has a newfound interest and fascination for glassblowing, having explored the medium during her undergraduate years at UNK. At LUX, Emily has found the perfect intersection of her interests and talents, allowing her to immerse herself in her passions, build on her skill set, and share her love of art and design with the community!
