In this 3-week class, participants will be introduced to water-based media, including acrylic, gouache, watercolor and water-soluble graphite. Participants will experiment with different brushes, painting surfaces. and will combine materials using techniques learned.  Session 1 is offered starting on January 6.  No pre-requisite...feel free to take either or both.  All materials provided. In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn the basic skills of ikebana to create a beautiful flower arrangement. Bring in one of your own flower vases to use or you may borrow one during the workshop. Participants will leave with a small flower frog/kenzan to display their ikebana floral arrangement at home. In this all ages workshop, participants will create landscape paintings on canvas board as they will learn the fundamentals of painting with acrylic paints. 

A paying adult must accompany all children ages 11 and under. Teens, age 12-15, do not need a parents/guardians to stay, but they MUST be reachable in case of emergencies. All materials provided. This workshop is for age 5+.

By combining images, printed material, and even found objects, artists can create striking works of collage that dazzle the eye and offer a unique perspective. Participants in this workshop will learn how to use the technique of layering images from magazines, photos, newspaper/books, along with colored pencils, paint, ink, and more to create original artworks. All materials provided and participants are welcome to bring their own materials to collage. This class is for Teens age 12-15 (parents/guardians mst be reachable in case of emergencies).

In this all ages workshop, participants will explore still life drawing with a variety of drawing materials such as graphite pencils, graphite sticks, and conte, and craypas.

A paying adult must accompany all children ages 11 and under. Teens, age 12-15, do not need a parent/guardian to stay, but they MUST be reachable in case of emergencies. Pieces will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after the last week of the session. All materials and firing provided. This class is open to ages 5+.

This class will introduce beginning participants to the fundamentals of painting with acrylic paints and allow more advanced students time to hone their skills. All paints and materials provided. This class is for Teens age 12-15 (Parent/guardian MUST be reachable in case of emergencies) and Adults 16+.

Kids 5-8 and Youth 9-11 will learn the basics of painting and drawing using acrylics, watercolor, and various drawing mediums in this fun, afterschool class. Students may be working on still life, landscape, portrait or abstract paintings and drawings. All materials provided. This class is for children age 5-11.

Using Argentium silver (highly tarnish resistant, hypoallergneic, brighter and stronger than sterling), participants will learn to design and create their own earring wires! The workshop will cover basic fabrication methods and how to shape, file, sand, and texture your pieces. Participants will leave with earring wires to make your own jewelry or to replace the earring wires on your favorite jewelry. All materials provided. This class is for Adults 16+.

Make your own marbled paper! Learn to use floating inks to make unique designs on paper. Be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, these inks don’t like to wash out of clothes!
