In this camp, Youth ages 9-11 will use a variety of stamps, stencils, and transfer plates to create one-of-a-kind art works. Students will experiment with painting, printmaking, and drawing while they explore texture, pattern, and layering – the possibilities are endless! All materials are provided.

Learn to think outside the box by connecting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics! Multiple art mediums will be explored as students incorporate STEAM topics into their art projects. The theme this week is ecology and the environment! In this camp, Youth ages 9-11 will learn elements of sculpture, assemblage, collage, painting, and drawing, while repurposing everyday discarded materials like plastic bottles and containers, packaging, recycled paper, glass, metal, egg cartons, wire and cardboard into unique sculptures.

Teens ages 12-15 in this camp will have a blast exploring the work of contemporary artists and learning about different methods they can use to create their own printed designs on paper and fabric! Both screen printing and block printing methods will be covered. All materials are provided. Students are welcome to bring additional items to print from home or the thrift store.  All materials provided.

In this camp, Teens 12-15 will explore how to illustrate their story ideas and convey ideas, emotions, and messages using a variety of techniques such as line, composition, gesture and symbolism. Students will learn about character and story development that they can use in graphics, comic books, story books and more. All materials are provided.

This camp for children aged 9-11 focuses on teaching the elements and principles of art and design through hands-on activities. Students will create 3D sculptures, mobiles, and other art projects, using various materials and techniques such as building, sculpting, assembling, painting, drawing, printing, and collaging. All materials are provided, making it a fun and creative learning experience.

This camp for teens ages 12-15 focuses on traditional embroidery, beading, and painting to enhance fabric surfaces. Participants will also experiment with Shashiko, a Japanese stitching technique originally used for reinforcing and repairing fabric. Over time, Sashiko has evolved into a decorative art form, now seen in contemporary fashion worldwide. Teens will apply these techniques to create a sewn project, upcycled clothing, handmade textiles, or fabric art. All materials are provided. Students are welcome to bring garments for Shashiko.

A zine is a homemade publication that is all about self-expression and creativity! This zine camp is for teens aged 12-15 and focuses on self-expression and creativity. Participants will create their own homemade publications, called zines, which are often made using a photocopy machine and can include a mix of text and images. The camp will provide all materials, and students will learn how to design, print, and bind their zines in a fun and hands-on way.
